Logging a Dispute

Submit your dispute to us in writing via dispute@tenstat.com.
  1. It is recommended you obtain your TenStat report (if you don’t have a recent copy) substantiating the reason for your dispute/query.
  2. To protect your security, we first validate your identity before embarking, as such, request a valid ID number.

Investigating a Dispute

  1. Once your dispute has been received, we investigate the matter and revert back to you within seven (7) working days.
  2. Once we have confirmed all necessary criteria, our attorneys initiate an investigation.
  3. We contact the relevant listing party, requesting verification of the listed information in question.
  4. We document the outcome of the investigation, where applicable, make necessary changes.
  5. On completion, we revert with the details and outcome of the investigation.

It is your right to request an investigation should you dispute erroneous information on your report. Your TenStat report is an important tool in managing your rental profile, as such, we endeavour to protect your personal information utilising many safeguards ensuring it remains secure and accurate.

If you believe your profile may contain inconsistent information, depending on the type of information, you can log a dispute. We endeavour to maintain accurate tenant information. Should you dispute an item listed against you, it is your right and responsibility to inform us by logging a dispute. (only inaccurate information may be removed, accurate information shall remain on your tenant report accordingly).
